Another very common home remedy for kennel cough is the use of vaporizer. Creating a humid environment will help the dog to recover from the disease very fast.

This has been proved scientifically. One should give complete rest to the dog suffering from this illness. It will also help in recovery. But if the illness becomes more intense and the dog emits phlegm with a hacking sound of the cough.

Some Moms have found that breastmilk will help soothe and heal a cough better than any other drink. If you're nursing and baby develops a cough, don't stop breastfeeding. Increase baby's feedings.

For many people, these are just an inevitable part of winter, to be struggled through, or nursed... and for most the after-effects of a cold or flu just seem to linger longer, up to several weeks, or even months.

In this wintry weather try to stay warm too - getting cold won't give you a cough, cold or flu, but it will lower your immune system's response, so that you are more vulnerable to catching one.

Whichever type of cough you have, your body needs a little help trying to get rid of the nasty stuff in your respiratory system that's making you cough. A dry cough is where you cough and cough, but nothing comes up.

Adverse impairment upon quality of life, debilitation, and social distress could be common terms in which to describe the ill effects brought about by individuals who suffer from persistent coughing.
